Bio
So, more about me.....
I am a highly motivated, confident individual who relishes in working from home teaching English as a second language to both children and adults around the world in countries such as Russia, France, Germany, Switzerland, Ukraine and Italy.

I spent 6 years living in Spain from 2005 to 2011 where I qualified as a TEFL teacher and this enabled me to, not only teach English in the local village to both children and adults, but also I start teaching English online in 2007 in Germany, Russia, and China.
​
Since returning to the UK in 2011 I have concentrated on working from home and I have taken up many different opportunities teaching children worldwide on a 1:1 basis and in groups online.
​
I currently spend much of my day teaching English in collaboration with a Bi-lingual academy in France where I teach kids from 9 through to 18 years old. I also teach kids in Russia and Germany so am very used to being with these kids and are able to make them relaxed and feel confident in learning to speak English.
Moreover, I also coach English to adults where they need to use English as a 2nd language in a business environment and also coach and provides ongoing support to other teachers in the industry where English is their 2nd language.

Work experience prior to becoming an English teacher
1985 to 2005
My career started early in my life working in the legal sector with my father who was a lawyer, firstly as a secretary and he also trained me as, what today would be, a Paralegal.

Following on from this, I went into accountancy and was a Branch manager with the Nationwide Building Society and Woolwich Building Society for many years before moving to get married.
​
Due to my ex-husband being in the Armed Forces I travelled all over the country, hence my career is varied and as a result I have a vast amount of business knowledge in many different sectors from legal, accountancy, telecoms to technology and much more in the role of Personal Assistant or Office Manager.
​
My last role before moving to Spain was working for AVAYA Communications a global telecoms company.
